A set of instruction to achieve certain action. In other word letting knowledge to certain system while reacting each case.
The language used to write program (set of instruction). In other word, a structure of writing instruction to achieve action.
PROGRAMMING IN PLC
Assigning set of rule to controller to react in each condition. There are some programing language understandable by PLC.
PLC UNDERSTANDABLE PROGRAMMING LANGUAGES
1. Ladder diagram
2. FBD(Functional Block Diagram)
3. SFC(Sequential Function Chart)
4. Instruction list
5. CFC(Conditional Flow Chart) etc.,
This is the programming language which look like a ladder.
Each and every pressing data get placed in ladder’s horizontal line in the form of element.
With respect to sequence flow of data respective output get responded.

FUNCTION BLOCK DIAGRAM (FBD)
The program language get process data instant of direct ladder diagram by logic block.
The language program filled by block to process the data.
SEQUENTIAL FUNCTION CHART (SFC)
In SFC the program language look like a flow chart, as shown in the above figure.
